I bought a pair of these in 1995. They haven't changed the design much, which I like. I am still beating the crap out of mine in crampons 2-3 days a week building ski trails. I've never been cold in them. The rocker sole is nice for walking. I wore them around downtown Billings the other day, that's the only thing they aren't optimal for.
