I have owned this boot for several years in black and am trying to get up the money to buy a pair in brown. First of all, it has unique properties of keeping my feet warm when I am outdoors but not overly warm when I wear them indoors. I bought them a little on the big side in order to wear either stockings or socks depending on how cold the weather is, and that has worked out great.
But most of all, the boot is SO comfortable. I can walk and walk and my feet never tire. My feet are on the wide side (I normally wear a C width or "wide" and I have a normal arch). I pronate as well (A LOT) so boots generally are a better fit for me that normal shoes.
The boot has held up very well in snow although, until last year, Washington DC wasn't known for a lot of snow.
I generally take the boots with me on ski trips and they are very light weight if packed. I often wear them on the airplane as that don't get overly tight if my feet swell during the trip.
And, on cold days in the Nation's Capital, I have been known to wear them to work and keep them on all day. Yes, I get comments since these boots are generally more prevalent in a ski lodge than an office building, but I don't care. The most frequent comments I get are about how warm they look and how pretty they are.

I love the look of these boots, I wish the tassle was in black like in previous years, I just think it would look better. These boots are a step up from my regular snow boots and they look a whole lot nicer when I need to be a bit more dressed up. They are warm and cosy. I ordered a full size bigger because they didn't have my true size and it's not too big.

This pair of boots replace an older pair of boots, that were of the same style and same brand name. The only difference is that they were black in color. Those boots lasted for over ten years. These boots are very warm and comfortable.
